New Website!

Hooray! My new website is online. Wow, I can't believe how long that took me. Going through photos was so wonderful and emotional and heart wrenching (and I'm not even the parents!). I love all my little kiddos so much that choosing favourites made me feel like a bad grandparent. But it was definitely fun to revisit my families--many of whom I've seen yearly for the past 6 years (whoa, time really flies!!)

Now I just have to work out the kinks (if you have a personal frustration please let me know).

Onto my next project...new albums!

Here's some friends that I see every year...and now they have the cutest puppy in the world! They were such troopers to show off their Christmas dresses in the chilly air!

My first blog post!

I still feel like it's the New Year especially since I am still working on my January to-do list most of which centers around updating my website and my materials. Part of that includes entering the world of blogging. And even though it seems like it has been pretty quiet around here there have been some exciting going-ons...

I was filmed doing a portrait session for a NOVA documentary about a UW scientist, I got to photograph the esteemed poet Mary Oliver for Seattle Arts and Lectures and I finished my second quilt. Not too bad for my month of rest and relaxation...

I normally don't have so many people around. Or lights and a background for that matter...

Mary Oliver spoke to a sold out crowd at Benaroya. She was so beautiful and eloquent. I was enthralled and I generally am not even a poetry reader...

This is my first quilt. I haven't gotten to photograph the latest one yet....
