Before the lecture

I took these shots a few weeks ago backstage at the Lois Lowry lecture. The lecture happened just before WPPI--the humungous, overwhelming annual Portrait and Wedding Show I go to each year which completely wipes me out and totally invigorates me--so I didn't get to them until just a few days ago. The lecture was at Town Hall. I've never been there before but it is this gorgeous old chuch--complete with pew seating and stained glass windows. The backstage is sort of decrepit but full of charm in "old theatre which has seen better days" sort of way. Jaime was going over his introduction for Lois.
